Answer: 285

Explanation:

Angle EBD = 90-35= 55

Angle EDB = 90-40= 50

Therefore angle BED= 180- (55+50)= 75

Angle X= 360-75= 285

Answer is that x is 285. How do I know? it will be hard to explain in words for I drew an imaginary line that bisected x and E through the middle. If you do that, the imaginary line will be corresponding to 40 degrees and corresponding angles together make 180 degrees. So I substracted 180 with 40. one sector of x is found. the imaginary line also makes an alternative angle for 35 at E direction and also 40 degree to the other half. Now E and x makes up a whole circle which is 360 degree. I added the angles i found and substracted them with the X section. The answer was found.

there is another way though. the imaginary line draws a midst section. There will be two corresponding angles then. 180- 35 and 180- 40. add them together and you find the value of x.
