HOLA !!

ANSWER....

(5/3)^-5 * (25/9)^-11/2 = (5/3)^8y

We can write , (25/9) as (5/3)^2

(5/3)^-5 * [(5/3)^2]^-11/2 = (5/3)^8y

(5/3)^-5 * (5/3)^-11 = (5/3)^8y

We know that , a^x * a^y = a^x+y

(5/3)^(-5 + (-11)) = (5/3)^8y

(5/3)^(-5 - 11) = (5/3)^8y

(5/3)^-16 = (5/3)^8y

=> -16 = 8y

=> -16/8 = y

=> y = -2

Therefore , y = -2...
