now,

Using quadratic formula to find this

a = 4 b = -3 c = -16

D = b²-4ac

D = (-3)²- 4×4×(-16)

D = 9 + 256

D = 265

z= -b±√D/2a

z= 3±√265/8

so

z = 3+√265/8

z= 3-√265/8
