z = 40° because it is opposite of 40°
y+ 40° = 180°
y = 180°-40°
y= 140°
x+ z = 180°
x +40° = 180°
x = 180° -40°
x = 140°
Therefore z=40° , y = 140° , x=140°

angle 40 degree +angle x degree + angle 25 degree equals to 180 degree (linear pair)
40+x+25=180
75+x=180
x =180-75
x=105degree
angle x =angle y=105 degree ( vertical opposite angle)
angle y +angle z =180 degree ( linear pair)
105+z =180
z=180-105
z=75 degree
