Solution

Given:-

  • x/a = y/b

Or,

  • bx - ay = 0 -----------(1)

And

  • ax + by = a²+b² --------(2)

multiply by a in equ(1) and b in equ(2)

  • abx - a²y = 0
  • abx + b²y = b(a²+b²)

_________________Sub. it's

-(a²+b²)y = -b(a²+b²)

y = -(a²+b²)/-(a²+b²)

➛ y = b

keep value of y in equ(1),

➛ bx - a*b = 0

➛ bx = ab

➛ x = ab/b

➛ x = a

Thus

  • value of x = a
  • Value of y = b

Keep value of x and y in equ(1)

bx - ay = 0

b*a - a*b = 0

0 = 0

L.H.S = R.H.S
