solution : charge , Q = 3 × 10¯³ C

volume, V = 1000 cm³ = 1000 × 10¯⁶ m³ = 10¯³ m³

volume charge density, ρ = Q/V

= (3 × 10¯³ C)/(10¯³ m³) = 3 C/m³

Therefore the volume charge density is 3 C/m³.
