vol. of cuboid = 15*10*3.5

                      = 525 cm^3

vol. of wood taken out from four cavities = 4*1/3*22/7*0.5*0.5*1.4

                                                                 = 22/15

                                                                 = 1.47 cm^3 (approx)

vol. of wood in entire stand = 525-1.47

                                            = 523.53 cm^3

Answer:

Dimensions of the pan stand are

l=15cm

b=10cm

h=3.5cm

⇒ Volume=l×b×h

=15×10×3.5

=525cm

4 conical depressions are taken out to make pen holders.

⇒ Volume taken out =4(volume of one cone)

=4(

Radius(r)=0.5cm

Height(h)=1.4cm

⇒ Volume taken out=
