Find whether the underlined elements have been reduced or oxidised: a) Fe2O3 + 3 CO → 2 Fe + 3 CO2
b) Cu2S + 2 Cu2O → 6 Cu + SO2
c) 3 Zn + 8 HNO3 → 3 Zn(NO3)2 + 2 NO + 4H2O
d) H2S + H2SO4 → S + SO2 + 2 H2O
e) K2Cr2O7 + 14 HCl → 2 KCl + CrCl3 + 3 Cl2 + 7 H2O

if u give me the answers correctly
i will mark the answer as brainliest otherwise not.

Thank You.

Answer:

a) Fe2O3 + 3 CO → 2 Fe + 3 CO2

Fe203 is reduced to form Fe, Co is oxidized to form Co2

b) Cu2S + 2 Cu2O → 6 Cu + SO2

Cu2s is oxidized to form So2, Cu2o is reduced to form Cu

c) 3 Zn + 8 HNO3 → 3 Zn(NO3)2 + 2 NO + 4H2O

Zn is oxidized to form  Zn (No3)2, Hno3 is normal

d) H2S + H2SO4 → S + SO2 + 2 H2O

H2S is oxidized to form SO2 and water

e) K2Cr2O7 + 14 HCl → 2 KCl + CrCl3 + 3 Cl2 + 7 H2O

K2Cr2O7  and HCl is  reduced to form KCL CrCl3 + Cl2 , Hcl is oxidized to form H2o
