  • If dot multiple of two vectors elucidates zero they are assumed to be  perpendicular to each other.
  • If cross multiple of two vectors elucidates zero they are assumed to be  parallel to each other.
  • Here, in this case we can clearly see that the answer of the cross multiple of the vectors (-2,1,-1) and (0,3,1) is not nil. Thus they are assumed to be not parallel to one another.
