Answer:

Let, f(x) =x^2-2

if x^2-2 is divisble by x+2(y≠0) then the reminder is f(-2). [let,x+2=0, x=-2]

now,

f(-2) =(-2)^2-2=4-2=2

f(-2) is not equal to zero so x^2-2 is not divisble by x+2(y≠0) .since to be divided by x+2 the reminder have to be zero but here the reminder is 2.

Answer:- x^2-2 is not divisble by x+2(y≠0).
