If theta = 0° then the work done will be positive.
If theta = 90° then the work done will be zero.
If theta = 180° then the work done will be negative...

The work is done at an inclined angle i.e (theta is equal to 0, 90, and 180 degrees is positive, zero and negative respectively.

Given:

Three angles 0, 90, and 180 degrees.

To Find:

The work is done at an inclined angle i.e (theta is equal to 0, 90, and 180 degrees.

Solution:

To find work is done at an inclined angle i.e (theta is equal to 0, 90, and 180 degrees we will follow the following steps:

As we know,

Work done is the amount of energy used to displace an object at a distance of x and an angle theta with the force.

The formula of work done = Force. displacement

 = f.x = fx \: cosΘ

Unit of work done

 = kgm {s}^{ - 2}  \times m = kg {m}^{ - 2}  {s}^{2}

Now,

Putting values of theta in the above formula we get,

For Θ = 0°

fx \: cosΘ = fx \: cos0 = + fx

For Θ = 90°

fx \: cos90 = 0

For Θ = 180°

fx \: cos180 = - fx

As cos0°, cos 90° and cos 180° are +1, 0 and -1

Henceforth, the work is done at an inclined angle i.e (theta is equal to 0, 90, and 180 degrees is positive zero, and negative respectively.
