(4/7)³ ÷ (7/4)⁵ = (4/7)^(x - 2)

(4/7)³ ÷ (4/7)-⁵ = (4/7)^(x - 2) (4/7 raised to -5)

Now, by a^m ÷ a^n = a^ (m - n),

3 - (-5) = x - 2

3 + 5 = x - 2

x = 3 + 5 + 2

x = 10.

\large\red{\underline{{\boxed{\textbf{your answer}}}}}

( 4 \div 7 ) ^{3}   \times( 4 \div 7) ^{ - 5}  =( 4 \div 7) ^{x - 2}  \\  (4 \div 7) ^{ - 2}  =(4 \div 7)  ^{x - 2}

comparing \: the \: power \: of \: same \:  \\ base

 - 2 = x - 2 \\   - 2  +  2 = x \\ x = 0
