To find:-

• Value of x

______________________________

Solution:-

⇒ 4=8⁽ˣ⁻²⁾

Let's convert both LHS and RHS into standard exponential form!

⇒ (2)²=(2)³⁽ˣ⁻²⁾

As base of both terms is same but exponents are different, do we can compare exponents.

So,

⇒ 2=3(x-2)

⇒ 2=3x-6

⇒ 2+6=3x

⇒ 8=3x

⇒ 8/3=x

So the required value of x is 8/3.
