As the coefficients of x is same in (3) and (2)

Lets eliminate the x coefficient

6x + 18y = 22xy

6x + 3y = 7xy

Subtracting the equations

15y = 15xy

15=15x

x = 1

Substituting the value of x in (3)

6(1) + 18y = 22y

4y = 6

y = 3/2

The values of x and y are 1 and 3/2 respectively.
