y = 180° - 92°

y = 88°

By Angle Sum Property,

> ∠50° + ∠y + ∠x = 180°

> 50° + 88° + ∠x = 180°

> 138° + ∠x = 180°

> ∠x = 180° - 138°

> ∠x = 42°

Hence, ∠x = 42°

            ∠y = 88°
