Step-by-step explanation:

As, (1 +2x, 5) = (-11, 3y-2)

     1 +2 x = -11

      2x = -11 - 1 = -12

      x = -12/2 = -6

Similarly, 5 = 3y - 2

                 3y = 5+2 =7

                 y = 7/3

Hope it hepled you :)
