According to the above figures

angle APQ= 65°

angle APQ= angle PQS (by alternate interior angle)

angle APQ= angle PQS = 65 °

angle SQR= 180°-65° ( by linear pair)

=115°

In triangle SQR angle S = S

angle S+ angle Q + angle R =180°

S + 115°+20°=180°

S = 180°-135°

S= 145°

angle S = x

x= 145°

angle QSR+ angle FSR=180° ( by linear pair )

145°+y =180°

y=180°-145°

y=35°

hence the value of x and y = 145° and 35° respectively
