Nibeditaparida: bt if we taken a b and c be the 3 points then ab +bc is not equal to ac
Nibeditaparida: so how the point is -5and 4
Himanshuvishwas: let me solve again
Himanshuvishwas: sorry, the correct answer is (-2,3)
Himanshuvishwas: now ab+bc=ac
Himanshuvishwas: isn't ?????

if three points are collinear then area of the triangle must be zero. so area of the triangle is 1/2 [x1 (y2-y1)+x2 (y3-y1)+x3 (y1-y2)]=0
x1,y1=x,y x2,y2=1,2 x3,y3=7,0
putting the values in the above equation we get -6y-2x+14=0
taking -2 as common in the 3 terms then
x+3y-7=0
bt this equation can't solve .... so may bi this question is wrong may bi ....
