∴ x + ∠ADC = 180°         ( Angles in a straight line is 180°)

We can now replace ∠ADC with ∠ABC

∴x + ∠ABC = 180°

⇒ x + 60 = 180°

x = 120°

And y is = 60°            ( interior opposite angle)
