So, by using this property we can solve

In a Quadrilateral GUNS

GU = NS

SG = NU Since opposite sidea of quadrilateral equal

• GU = 3y - 1

• NS = 26

• NU = 18

• SG = 3x

So,

GU = NS

3y - 1 = 26

3y = 26 + 1

3y = 27

y = 27/3

y = 9

SG = NU

3x = 18

x = 18/3

x = 6

So, the values of x , y are. 6,9
