Find x and y in the following equation (3x - 4y - 24)² + (5x + 2y - 14)² = 0​

the equation is (3x - 4y - 24)² + (5x + 2y - 14)² = 0

if x is equal to 12 & y is equal to 3

then, simplify :-

 = 3 \times 12  \:  -  \: 4 \times 3 \:  -  \: 24  \\

 = 36 \:  -  \: 12 \:  -  \: 24  \\

 = 0

now,

 = 5 \times 12 \:  +  \: 2 \times 3  - 14

 = 60 + 6 - 14

 = 66 - 14

 = 52

you question in wrong, the equation will be

(3x - 4y - 24)² + (5x + 2y - 14)² = 52
