<ABC= 70°(linear pair)

<ABC=<ACB=70°(Angles opposite to equal sides are equal

<ACB+<ACD=180°(LINEAR PAIR)

<ACD=<x=110°

<ABC+<ACB+<BAC=180°(ANGLE SUM PROPERTY OF TRIANGLES)

Answer:

angle EBC+angle CBA=180(linear pair)

110°+CBA=180

CBA= 180-110

CBA=70

angle CBA=angle BCA ( if two side is equal the two angle is also equal )

angle BCA= 70°

angle BCA+ angle ACD = 180

70+ ACD= 180

ACD= 180-70

ACD= 110

angle ABC+ angle ACB+ Y= 180 ( angle sum property)

70+70+y=180

y= 180-140

y = 40
