Answer:

to find y value

12° + 8° + y = 180°

20° + y = 180°

y = 180° - 20°

y = 160°

to find x value

8° + 35° + CEB = 180°

43° + CEB = 180°

CEB = 180° - 43°

CEB = 137°

x + 137° = 180°

x = 180° - 137°

x = 43°

I am taking 180° because a traingle is always 180°. And to find the x I first find the value of CEB as these angle is a straight angle with x. And a straight angle is always 180°.

Hope it helps

<A = 52°

<C= 35°

<B= 52°+35° - 180° ( sum of all angles in a triangle is 180° )

<B= 93°

<y = < ABD + < EBC - <B

= 12°+8°-93

=73

<BEC= <EBC+BCE -180°

= 8°+35°-180°

=43°-180°

=137 °

<ADB= <ABD+ <BAD- 180°

= 12°+52°-180°

= 180°-64°

=116°

<X is perpendicular to < BEC

<BEC is 138° so X is 43°

<ADB is perpendicular to < BDE

< ADB is 116° so <BDE is 64°

Step-by-step explanation:

y=73°

X= 43°
