To find Y you would add the other 2 degrees of the left triangle together because we know that all the added together has to equal 180 degrees so 47+65 is 112 and since all 3 have to add up to 180 you would just take 180-112 which equals 68 Y would equal 68 degrees. and to find X we know that 65 degrees 20 degrees and X added together makes a straight line which also makes this to where all 3 of them added together would have to equal 180 degrees. So we add 65+20 which equals 85 degrees and then we just take 180-85 which equals 95 so X is 95 degrees.

y= 180- (47+65)

= 180- 112

= 68

hence y is 68

then z is 180-68 = 112

then w= 180-(112+20)

w= 180-132

= 48

so x is 47+ 48

= 95

x is 95 and y is 68

or you can do x = 180-(65+20)

= 95
