Answer :

We know that, the sum of two angles lying adjacently on a straight line is 180°

From the given figure, if ∠D and ∠C, where both are outside angles come adjacent or close to each other, we get

    ∠D + ∠C = 180°

    ⇒ x + y = 180 .....(i)

We also know that, the opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal to each other

    ⇒ ∠B = ∠D, where both ∠B and ∠D are inner angles and ∠D = y°

    ⇒ 60 = y

    ⇒ y = 60

    ∴ y = 60°

From (i), we get

    x + 60 = 180

    ⇒ x = 180 - 60

    ⇒ x = 120

    ∴ x = 120°

Note : From the figure, it can easily be concluded that ∠B (inner angle) = ∠C (outer angle) as both the angles lie opposite to each other on parallel lines with a common intersecting line.

Hey !!! ^_^

Here is your answer

⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

ABCD is the parallelogram..

Opposite angle of parallelogram are equal ..

So ,

∠B = ∠D

and ∠ B = 60°

and

∠D = y ...(Adjacent angle )

y = 60° ..

Now ,

∠D + x = 180° ......(pair of linear angle .)

60° + x = 180°

x = 180° - 60°

x = 120°..

So the ..

X = 120° and y = 60° .
