2x+y-8=0 -①

x+6y-15=0 -②

from 1....

2x+y-8=0

2x=8-y

x=(8-y)/2 -③

put the value of x in 2

6y+(8-y)/2-15=0

(12y+8-y-30)/2=0

12y-y+8-30=0

11y-22=0

11y=22

y=2

put the value of y in 3

x=(8-2)/2

x=6/2

x=3

Hence, the value of x=3 & y=2....
