We know,
property of a rhombus:
1.Diagonals of rhombus are perpendicular to each other
2. Diagonals of a rhombus are angle - bisectors.
therefore,
angle DOC= angle COB= angle BOA=angle AOD= 90°......[from (1)]
now,
In ∆ AOB
angle AOB+ angle OBA+ angle BAO= 180°
90°+ 30°+x= 180°
120°+x=180°
x=60..... (3)
Side DC || side AB and DB is transversal.
angle DBA= angle BDC= 60°.....( alternate angles)
since,
DB is angle bisector,
angle ADO= angle ODC= 60°
hence,
y= angle ADO= 60°
Therefore,
x=y= 60°
