find x cube+1/c cube if x+1/x=3

Solution:

Given: x+1/x=3,

To find: $x^3+1/x^3$

if x+1/x=3 then,
x+1=3x
1=3x-x
2x=1
x=1/2..(i)

so, $x^3+1/x^3$
= $[(1/2)^3+1]/(1/2)^3$
= $[1/8+1]/(1/8)$
= $(9/8)/(1/8)$
=[tex]9/8 × 8/1[/tex]
= $9/1$
= $9$

∴ $x^3+1/x^3=9$ Hope it helps
