 {5}^{x}  +  {5}^{x - 1}  = 750

(5 + 1) \times  {5}^{x - 1}  = 750

6 \times  {5}^{x - 1}  = 750

 {5}^{x - 1}  = 750 \div 6

 {5}^{x - 1}  = 125

 {5}^{x - 1}  =  {5}^{3}

Since, bases are same so we equate powers

x - 1 = 3

x = 3 + 1

x = 4
