Let us give the names to both the triangles,

First triangle is ∆ABC and second is ∆PQR

Therefore, this is right angled traingle.

First we need to find the value of half x which is the base of ∆ABC

By Pythagoras theorem,

(Hypotenuse)²= (height)² + (base)²

(50)²= (14)² + (base)²

2500= 196 + (base)²

( base)²= 2500- 196

(base)²= 2304

base = √2304

base = 48m

Now base of ∆PQR

(Hypotenuse)²=(height)²+(base)²

(50)²= (14)² + (base)²

2500= 196 + (base)²

( base)²= 2500- 196

(base)²= 2304

base = √2304

base = 48m

Therefore measure of x = 48m + 48m

Measure of x= 96 m

Answer- measure of x = 96 metre
