Hello dude!!!

Answer:

 \frac{ - 6}{15}  =  \frac{x}{5}

Using the method of cross multiplication, we get:

15 \times x =  - 6 \times 5

15x =  - 30

x =  \frac{ - 30}{15}

x =  - 2

and that is the answer

Hope it helps,

Answer: x = -2

This is because -6/15 and x/5 are equivalent fractions.

While considering the dinominetors of both the fractions,

15 ÷ 3   = 5

Now, consider the numerators of both the fractions,

Hence, Divide -6 also with 3

ie, -6 ÷ 3 = -2

ie, x = -2

HOPE THIS HELPS..............
