Given 13^( 2x - 1 ) × 169 = 13^5
=> 13^( 2x - 1 ) × 13² = 13^5
=> 13^ ( 2x - 1 + 2 ) = 13^5
=> 2x - 1 + 2 = 5
[ Since , if a^m = a^n then m = n ]
=> 2x + 1 = 5
=> 2x = 5 - 1
=> 2x = 4
=> x = 4/2
Therefore ,
x = 2
