Answer: x=50

Step-by-step explanation:

2log2 x=4 => log(2x)^2=4

=>log4x^2=4

=>log4x^2 base 10=4

=> 4x^2= 10^4

=> 4x^2 = 10000

Divide both sides of the equal slgn by 4 to liberate x^2

=> (4x^2)/4 = 10000/4

=> x^2 =2500

We are looking for x and not for x square . Therefore take the square root of each variables on both sides of the equal sign .

=> √(x^2) = √2500

=> x = 50
