given that ...
(3^(x+2)-9)÷8=9
=> (3^(x+2)-9) = 9×8 = 72
=> (3^(x+2) = 72+9 = 81
=> (3^(x+2) = 3⁴
by comparing
(x+2) = 4
=> x= 4-2 = 2 answer
