Step-by-step explanation:

Lets first open all brackets

= 3+x/2x-3=-1/2

= 2x+x=3-3-1/2

= 3x= -1/2

= x = -1/2/3= -1/6

= x= -1/6

Given: The given expression is as follows-

 \frac{3 + x}{2x - 3}  =  \frac{ - 1}{2}

To find: We have to find the value of x.

Solution:

To determine the value of x from the above expression we have to follow the below steps as follows-

The given expression is-

 \frac{3 + x}{2x - 3}  = -   \frac{1}{2}

Multiplying (3+x) by 2 and (2x-3) by -1 we have to keep the x terms on the left side and the numbers on the right side as follows-

6 + 2x =  - (2x - 3) \\ 6 + 2x  = - 2x + 6 \\ 4x = 0 \\ x = 0

Thus, the value of x is 0.
