therefore in the question we are provided with the average that is 11
and the data is 9,x,14,18,x,x,8,10,4

so the average of these 9 numbers will be equal to 11
so,
(9+x+14+18+x+x+8+10+4)/9 = 11

9+x+14+18+x+x+8+10+4 = 99
3x + 63 = 99
3x = 99 -63
3x = 36
x = 36/3
x = 12 Ans.
