Mean of number = 4

 \sf \: mean \:  = 4

 \implies \sf \:  \frac{6 + 7x + 2}{3}  = 4 \\

 \implies \sf \:  \frac{8+ 7x }{3}  = 4 \\

 \implies \sf \: 8+ 7x   = 12\\

 \implies \sf \:  7x   = 12 - 8\\

 \implies \sf \:  7x   = 4\\

 \implies \sf \:  x   =  \frac{4}{7} \\
