To find : the value of x .

Given : \frac{4-3x}{2} = \frac{3 + 7x }{3}

Solution :

  • To find the value of x we cross multiply both the terms .

           3 ( 4 - 3x) = 2 ( 3 + 7x )

             12 - 9x = 6 + 14x

  • We take terms with variables at RHS and constant terms at LHS

              12 - 6 = 14x + 9x .

  • By performing normal operations of addition and subtraction and further dividing constants we find value of x.

               23x = 6

                  x = \frac{6}{23}

Hence , value of x is \frac{6}{23} .
