we know that the sum of exterior angle of any polygon is 360°

so 125°+125°+x = 360°

or, 250°+x = 360°

or, x=360°-250°

so x=110°

Answer:

x° = 110°

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that sum of 2 angles on a straight line = 180°.

This is known as "Linear Pair of Angles".

Applying this concept,

  • ∠ABC = 180° - 125° = 55°
  • ∠BAC = 180° - 125° = 55°

Now, the Exterior angle is equal to the sum of opposite 2 interior angles. This is known as "Exterior Angle Property"

Applying this property,

  x = ∠ABC + ∠BAC

⇒ x° = 55° + 55°

⇒ x° = 110°

∴ x° = 110°

Another approach for this question:

→ Once the 2 interior angles are found out, you can also apply 'Angle sum property' to find the third angle and then use Linear pair of Angles for finding x°
