OC = OP = radius

and

angle OPC = x (given)

So,

angle OPC = angle OCP = x (angles opposite to equal sides are equal)

angle POB = 70° (given)

Therefore angle POC = (180°-70°) = 110°

Therefore,

in triangle OPC,

using sum of angles of a triangle formula,

=angle OPC + angle POC + angle OCP = 180°

= x° + 110° + x° = 180°

= 2x° =180°-110°

= x = (70°/2)

= x = 35°
