Answer:-

The Required Value Of x is 55°.

Explanation:-

Given:-

  • Two parallel lines 'l' and 'm'.

  • <ABO = 70°.

To Find:-

  • The Value of x.

Concepts Used:-

  • Corresponding Angles (CA):- Sum of the corresponding angles between any two parallel lines are always equal to 180°.

  • Vertically Opposite Angles (VOA):- The angles which are vertically opposite to each other are always equal.

So Here,

  • <ABO and <1 are corresponding to each other so there sum must be equal to 180°.

  • <1 and 2x are vertically opposite so both of them must be equal.

Therefore,

By CA we get,

↦ <ABO + <1 = 180°.

↦ 70° + <1 = 180°.

↦ <1 = 180° - 70°.

<1 = 110°.

By VOA we get,

↦ 2x = <1.

↦ 2x = 110°.

↦ x = 110°/2.

x = 55°.

Therefore the required value of x is 55°.
