Answer:

Given equatiom => 3x-7=-4

Let x=0

then the equation becomes 3(0)-7=-4

LHS=> 0-7=-7

RHS=> -4

=> -7 = -4 (Not Possible), which means x is not 0.

Now lets try at x=-1

then the equation becomes 3(-1)-7=-4

LHS=> -3-7 = -10

RHS=> -4

so again -10 is not equal to -4, which means x is not -1

Now lets try with x=1

then the equation becomes 3(1)-7=-4

LHS=> 3-7=-4

RHA=> -4

-4=-4, i.e. LHS=RHS

Hence x = 1
