Value of angle x

Solution :-

The most important property involving with the triangles is " The sum of all the angles of a triangle is equals to 180° " called angle sum property of triangle.

Consider triangle ABE

Since sum of all angles of ∆ ABE must be equal to 180°,

=> ∠ ABE + ∠ EAB + ∠ AEB = 180°

=> ∠ EAB + 30° + 100° = 180°

=> ∠ EAB = 180° - 30° - 100°

=> ∠ EAB = 50°

Since we have obtained ∠ EAB, now apply angle sum property in ∆ ABC to find value of x.

=> ∠ EAB + ∠ ABC + ∠ ACB = 180°

=> 50° + ( 30° + x + 20° ) + 65° = 180°

=> 50° + 30° + 20° + 65° + x = 180°

=> 165° + x = 180°

=> x = 180° - 165

=> x = 15°

Hence the value of x is 15°
