find x : (x+1)/4 = (x-2)/3

Answer:

(x+1)/4=(x-2)/3

=> 3(x+1)=4(x-2)

=> 3x+3=4x-8

=> 3x-4x= -8-3

=> -x= -11

=> x=11

3x+3=4x-8

-4x+3x=-8-3
