Answer:

In parallelogram sum of all sides = 360°

But here for finding the value of X , Y and Z . we will use the propoerties of triangle

So , first taking Triangle CBA in which

40° + z = 180° as of linear pair

z = 180° - 40°

z = 140°

Now , in the very same triangle

angle CBA + 70° = 180° (as of linear pair)

CBA = 180 - 70

CBA = 110°

Now , in the very same triangle CBA

Angel CBA + Z + Y = 180° (Angel sum property of triangle )

Putting the values

110° + 50 + Y = 180

160 + Y = 180

Y = 180 - 160 = 20

And To find x in Triangle DAC

angle Z = angle X + angle DCA ( External angel property

and as angle Y = 20 . So , angle DCA = 180 - 60 = 120 (LINEAR PAIR)

AND ANGEL DAC = 40

SO ADDING ALL ANGELS OF TRIANGLE DAC

= 120 + 40 + X = 180

160 + X = 180

X = 180 - 160

X = 20°
