Find (x, y) if (3, 2), (6,3), (x,y) and (6,5) are vertices of a parallelogram.​

Answer:

Parallelogram's diagonals bisect each other

arallelogram's diagonals bisect each other

∴ 0 is the midpoint

(x+3)/2 , (y+2)/2 = (6+6)/2 , (3+5)/2

x=9&y=6

 {-x_1, x_2 + x_3} = fourth vertex

3 – 6 + x = 6

=> – 3x = 6

=> x = 9

 {y_1 – y_2 + y_3} = fourth vertex

2 – 3 + y = 5

=> – 1 + y = 5

=> y = 6

Therefore (x, y) = (9, 6)
