Hey user here is your answer.........

◆To find - x & y

◆x+y=5-------------(1)

◆x-y=1---------(2)

Equation 1 + equation 2

So,
◆2x=6
◆x=6/2
◆x=3

Put this value in equation (2)

◆x-y=1

◆3-y=1

◆3-1=y

◆y=2

Thanks☺️

hi frnd! ure answer is as follows

x+y=5-------------eq(i)
x-y=1---------------eq(ii)

by substituting method,,
from eq(i) we get

x=5-y
so by putting the value of x in eq (ii) we get,
5-y-y=1
5+2y=1
2y=1-5
y= -4/2
y=-2

i think it helps uu
