To find:

The value of \frac{x+y}{x-y} = ?

Solution:

\frac{x+y}{x-y} =\frac{\frac{1}{4} +\frac{3}{2} }{\frac{1}{4} -\frac{3}{2} }

By taking L.C.M, we get

          =\frac{\frac{1+6}{4} }{\frac{1-6}{4} }

          =\frac{1+6}{1-6}

          =-\frac{7}{5}

Thus, the correct answer is "-\frac{7}{5}".
