x+y=5/2-3/2=1.
x-y=5/2-(-3/2)=4.
x+y÷x-y=1/4=0.25.

hey mate!

x+y÷x-y when x= 5/2 and y= -3/2

= 5/2+(-3/2) ÷ 5/2 - (-3/2)

= (5+(-3))/2 ÷ (5-(-3))/2

= (5-3)/2 ÷ (5+3)/2

= 2/2 ÷ 8/2

= 1÷ 4

= 1/4

hope it was helpful!
