-11/17 is the correct answer

ajaz10: No it's not correct
vishal55296: I have got this answer
vishal55296: the value of x+y is 3/4+-7/2 that is -11/4 and the value of 3/4-(-7/2) is 17/4 hence (x+y)/(x-y) is (-11/4)/(17/4)=(-11/17)

Hello Friend

Here is your answer

x = 3/4

y = - 7/2

We find out x + y/x - y

Now put the value of x and y , we get

 \frac{3}{4}  +  \frac{ \frac{3}{4} }{ \frac{ - 7}{2} }  - ( \frac{ - 7}{2} ) \\  \\  =  \frac{3}{4}  +  \frac{3}{4}  \times ( \frac{ 2}{ - 7} )  +  \frac{7}{2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{3}{4}  -  \frac{3}{14}  +  \frac{7}{2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{21 - 6 + 98}{28}  \\  \\  =  \frac{119 - 6}{28}  \\  \\  =  \frac{113}{28}  \\

Hope it helps you
